Every day I have the opportunity to share in the adventure of learning with a classroom full of 8 and 9 year olds.  There is nothing as beautiful as a child when they smile.  I have been teaching at Edison for 20 years.  Seven years of that twenty was in second grade and the remainder in third.  I love to read anything about history and enjoy good historical fiction.  I enjoy writing and art.  I wrote the children's book Sipke's Son The Story Of A Friesian Colt.  I love computers and technology.  I enjoy building websites and creating computer graphics.  Life is a gift, and we should live each day as though it was our last.  Never let the sun go down on your wrath; always forgive.  Live life to the fullest!  There is no time for anything less.

The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.
